About the store

Magnum Imports NZ Limited is owned and operated by Wayne and Ainsley. It began in 1997, centered around Wayne’s interest in firearms, shooting and hunting, and a wider interest in the outdoors.

In April 2014 Wayne and Ainsley purchased the Upper Hutt Gunshop, and consolidated the Magnum Imports business into it, changing the name to simply The Gunshop.

Although specialising in a wide range of shooting products and services, catering for hunters, pistol and rifle target shooters and collectors, with a special focus on Black Powder, we have gradually extended the product range to include other "outdoors" products (fishing, tramping, camping, archery and even sporting dog gear) and are always looking to extend it further.

Sales of all NEW firearms are covered by a minimum ONE-YEAR factory warranty – except where specified otherwise
