Thunder Store is dedicated to dispatching your items within 24 hours on business days. Most items are dispatched same day if order is placed before 7am.

Our preferred delivery partner is Courier Post. Any time stated for delivery is an estimate only. No claim shall be made by you on account of late shipment, or delivery however caused.

We pride ourselves for outstanding packaging of our items. It is our priority to make sure our goods arrive to you safely. Laptops and PCs are packed in multiple layers of bubble wrap and housed in a sturdy carton with lots of cushioning material.

If your goods arrive damaged, DO NOT sign and contact us immediately.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is FREE on all products in our store unless specified otherwise.

Can I view your products in person before buying?

Sorry, this is not possible. We do not have a showroom for you to visit which helps us keep the prices nice and low. All product photos are actual photos of a device and, together with detailed descriptions, offer a good overview of each product.

Can I pick up?

Sorry we do not offer such an option unless stated otherwise.

Who is your shipping provider?

We use Courier Post and sometimes Aramex (Fast Way).

Can you provide a Tax/GST Invoice?

Yes, we can, please email us with your purchase number and we will email you the tax invoice for your purchase.

What does "refurbished" mean?

"Refurbished" refers to computers and laptops that have been returned, repaired, restored, or updated to a like-new condition. This could be due to a variety of reasons such as minor defects, cosmetic issues, or even just customer returns. All refurbished products are thoroughly tested and upgraded to ensure they work just as well as new ones.

Are refurbished computers and laptops reliable?

Yes, refurbished computers and laptops undergo rigorous testing, cleaning, and repair processes to make sure they are in good working condition before they are sold. Moreover, they come with a warranty that protects you from any immediate issues.

Can I upgrade the hardware in a refurbished computer or laptop?

Yes, most refurbished computers and laptops can be upgraded. However, the extent of what can be upgraded depends on the specific model and manufacturer. Please note that if you decide to upgrade your device while our warranty period still applies, this will automatically void the warranty. You can request upgrades before you place your order at an additional cost.

Do refurbished computers and laptops come with an operating system?

Yes, all our refurbished computers and laptops come with a pre-installed operating system. We ensure all necessary drivers and software are installed before shipping.

Can I buy a refurbished laptop or computer in bulk for my business?

Yes, we offer bulk purchasing options for businesses. Please contact our sales team for more information on bulk orders and any available discounts.

At Thunder Store we pride ourselves on supplying quality refurbished Ex-lease & Second-hand IT products. If you think the item you have purchased from Thunder Store is not operating as it should or is defective, please do contact us immediately so we can help you resolve any issues as soon as possible.

Before an item goes up for sale, our trained technicians test and evaluate each ex-lease and second-hand product to ensure correct working order. We aim to describe each item in as much detail as possible and only use real product photographs to help you evaluate the item and make an informed decision. All known faults and cosmetic imperfections are described within affected products’ descriptions. Unless otherwise stated all products are supplied with our 12-month, Hardware only, return to base warranty (RTB). This warranty is effective from the date of purchase only as detailed on your invoice/receipt.

12-month RTB Hardware Warranty covers repair or hardware/components sold by Thunder Store Only. It does not cover software faults or corrupted file systems due to Operating System upgrades/updates or software configuration errors. Any changes to hardware/software configuration and added components not installed by Thunder Store will void warranty and no warranty service will be provided. Acts of misuse, accidental or deliberate damage, or foreign objects/substances entering the item will void warranty and no service will be provided.

Consumable items are not covered by warranty e.g. Projector Lamps, Batteries and Toner/Ink. Battery issues or any problem relating to battery charge time, how long a battery lasts for under use or any other issues with batteries are not covered. Batteries are second hand when sold unless the item is specifically sold as a brand new item. Life of Battery is relevant to how it is treated.

We do not have to give a refund if you change your mind about a purchase or purchased an incorrect item (i.e. wrong charger for your laptop) so please choose carefully. If you changed your mind or want to cancel an order, there will be a 20% restocking fee + $25.00 admin fee charged to complete the process.

Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period and any repairs effected during that time unless agreed to by Thunder Store. Please contact us as soon as you feel an issue has arisen. If an item is faulty on arrival or damaged in transit, you must notify us within SEVEN DAYS. We will ask that the goods be returned to us and a replacement/repair will be provided following an assessment of the goods. According to The Consumer Guarantees Act, should a fault arise with an item purchased from Thunder Store, the original purchaser/customer is required to return the item at the customer’s own cost. Thunder Store will not accept any returns without being contacted first. Thunder Store will assess the returned item and carry out any repairs in a quick and efficient time frame if the fault is confirmed and is covered by our warranty policy; our repairs turnaround time is typically 3 – 7 Business days from receiving an item into our warehouse, unless otherwise stated to you or if additional parts are required to proceed with the repair. Once repairs are completed Thunder Store will courier the item back to the customer, using our standard courier service. When an item has known faults stated within the item’s description, those faults will not be covered by this warranty.
