We had a fire on our launch and it took out the batteries so electric bilge pumps wouldn't work. We were able to pump out the water that leaked in through a burnt hose with a manual pump like this. Every launch or Yacht should have at least one manual way of pumping water.
Don't skimp on a pump that does not pump as many litres as this one.
