2 x Jaguar XK 3.4 Litre (3 1/2) 6 cylinder Engines

Sorry I don't know much about these engines. I brought them if the intention of rebuilding one to use in a D-type replica project. I am no longer intending to do this project so they are now for sale. The auction is for both engines and I will not split. I have an engine lifter so can help load these for the successful purchaser to take away.

The engine numbers are as per the photos, the engine with the slightly polished cam covers and is; 7B9997-8 (63 to 68 S-type) and the other N3871-7 from either from a MK7M or early MK8

They still turn over, I have normally given them a bit of a turn every couple of months - sorry I don't know what their compressions are like. The person that I brought them off did say that the 7B had just been re-built, however when they first started it after reinstalling, it had bit of a knock so they took it out again. I was unsure if this was a tappet or a crank knock. As I was intending to get them both stripped down and inspected, it was something that I was going to sort out then.
