This auction is for everything needed to install a Cruz Airo Dark (138cm) Crossbar with 110mm high Cruz supports onto a single layer fiberglass canopy (as shown in the auction images)
This auction contains x1 Cruz Airo Dark aluminium bar (Powdercoated black) x2 110m (V-11) Cruz Commercial steel guttermount supports x1 False rain gutter with hardware and instructions- as shown in auction images
We recommend these are only installed by us at Roof Racks NZ or a competent DIY pro and that these are only installed on Single layer fiberglass canopies. These are mounted using whats called a "false rain gutter", to install a false rain gutter onto a canopy involves finding the correct height for the base of the bars leg to be mounted, gridding off and finding placement for the false rain gutter to be placed and then drilling and siliconing the holes for the rain gutter to be bolted through and tightened from the inside of the canopy. If you're interested we're happy to go through details of the installation in person or over the phone.
We offer installation of the gear shown in this listing onto a suitable vehicle for an additional $100 and it will take roughly 1 hour in our store. If you're interested give us a call and book a time!
These are regularly installed by us onto Crown , Fleetline, and beaut ute canopies and any other that is suitable for this set up. All single layer fiberglass canopies with room to install that false rain gutter and mount a bar/legs to.
Its not recommended to load the single bar with too much weight, its used to help support and load long objects. It is suitable for general trade use, kayaks and surfboards for example, and for example isn't suitable to support a roof top tent.
NOTE: We have different length and designs/brands of bars and supports, we only install genuine gear from the leading roof rack manufacturers - Cruz, Rhino Rack, Rola and Yakima/Prorack.
