1974 VW Thing /Type 181 Project NO RESERVE

This is a 1974 VW Thing. VW type 181.

1974 has the side blisters. Have pretty much everything needed to restore the car except orginal wheels. The previous owner tried to lift (baja) the body with a homemade set up. Have the proper kit if you choose to follow that path. Several boxes of new parts and rubber, some wiring looms and plenty of boxes of original parts as this my second thing. You get all of my vw stuff including manual. I am missing one sheetmetal part which is still produced and avaliable at the thingshop. It's got a set of highback seats but I prefer the lowback. Full seat kits are available at the thingshop included in westfalia tartan.

You'll notice I even bought all the remaining supply of wiring connector covers the factory still had in stock. NOS.

Last one I sold for 33k. Well worth thei investment on such a simple car to restore.
