Glynn did a fantastic job in upgrading my 2012 iMac which I thought was close to its last legs. The SSD upgrade and increase in ram made the machine like new. I’ve gained a few more years of life and saved me on buying a new machine completely. I use it for Music Production, it handles all my plugins with no crashes and gone from taken 10 minutes to boot to 15-30 seconds. Amazing!! Glynn is your go to person should you wish to speed up your old iMacs. I had a couple of iMacs with standard SATA HDDs and these machines were unbearably slow even for office uses. Can't recommend MacDriveUpdate enough. Going from a 256GB to 1TB drive on my old Macbook has given it a spectacular new lease on life- wish I'd done this sooner. Glynn was happy to answer all questions and went the extra mile to ensure the new battery was properly calibrated. He had a comprehensive knowledge of the subtle but important differences between different models - and had everything ready on time as promised. Best of all, his prices are the best I could find in Auckland.

My 2011 21.5" iMac was starting to run really slowly. I was looking at upgrading it to a new machine when I came across Glynn on Trade Me. Glynn upgraded the HDD to an SSD and the performance is, quite frankly, incredible. I was expecting a boost in speed but nothing at this magnitude. I think it's even running faster than my 2017 MacBook Pro! Anyway, I'd definitely recommend Glynn if you are looking to upgrade your Mac. You won't be disappointed. My 2014 MacMini had become super slow and even though I'd built and upgraded plenty of computers before, newer Macs are increasingly difficult to upgrade. I was prepared to DIY the upgrade and risk butchering my Mac, but I decided to do another Google search, which led me to Glynn's services.
