When can I enter?
The 2025 Trade Me Property Impact Awards will recognise 2024 performance, with submissions opening on Monday 31 March.
What awards require a submission?
The following awards require a submission to be completed by licensed residential for sale real estate salespeople and offices.
The following awards require a submission to be completed by buyers and sellers across Aotearoa:

What awards do not require a submission?
The awards celebrating digital marketing excellence are powered by Trade Me Property data that celebrate our top performing customers across specific categories. All eligible customers will automatically be in the running to win these awards and will not need to enter a submission.
The following awards are powered by Trade Me Property data and do not require a submission:
- Salesperson of the Year - Top performing residential for sale salesperson of the year
- Residential Office of the Year - Top performing residential for sale office of the year
- Rental Office of the Year - Top performing residential for rent office of the year
- Commercial Office of the Year - Top performing commercial for sale office of the year
Who judges the Trade Me Property Impact Award submissions?
A panel of experts will be reviewing and judging your submission.
What do winners receive?
Winners of the Trade Me Property Impact Awards receive access to exclusive value including personalised marketing assets to promote across marketing collateral and more. Find out more about the value for winners here.
Who is eligible for the awards powered by Trade Me Property data?
Eligible Trade Me Property customers will automatically be in the running for data-driven awards.
Who does this include? See below for eligibility criteria.
- Salesperson of the Year - The 30 Quarterly award winners announced throughout 2024 will make up our finalists of this award.
- Residential Office of the Year - Any residential for sale office that has advertised over 40 listings on Trade Me Property during 2024.
- Rental Office of the Year - Any residential for rent office that has advertised over 40 listings on Trade Me Property during 2024.
- Commercial Office of the Year - Any commercial for sale office that has advertised over 10 listings on Trade Me Property during 2024.
How are the awards powered by Trade Me Property judged?
These awards celebrate digital marketing excellence and acknowledge our top-performing individuals and offices based on their listing engagement performance on Trade Me Property throughout 2024.
Customers on Trade Me Property who meet specific listing criteria in the 2024 calendar year (the eligibility criteria listed above) will be automatically entered into consideration for a data-driven award.
The salesperson or office displaying the highest listing engagement relative to the local market in their region during the Awards Period will then compete nationally.
Overall listing engagement is calculated by combining total listing views and watchlist adds.
Which awards can I enter?
Each award has specific eligibility criteria, depending on which type of customer you are to Trade Me Property. This is to ensure all our customers have awards relevant to their business.
Trailblazer of Year – all Trade Me Property customers that are salespeople who have been in the residential for sale property industry for less than 18 months can enter this award.
Innovator of the Year - all Trade Me Property residential for sale customers can enter this award.
Community Relationship Award - all Trade Me Property residential for sale customers can enter this award.
Support Hero of the Year Award - all Trade Me Property residential for sale, residential for rent and commercial customers working in administrator and office support roles can enter this award.
If you are eligible for any of our awards powered by Trade Me Property data, you will automatically be entered to that award. No submission is required.

When will finalists and winners be announced?
- The finalists will be announced 30 June 2025.
