Looking for up-to-date information about your local property market? Wanting to feel more empowered to make confident decisions about your home, your biggest asset? Check out Trade Me Property’s new in-app ‘My Homes’ feature.

What's the scoop?

  • You can now see how many people are searching for homes like yours in your suburb.
  • The tool gives you access to buyer demand information and online estimates.
  • You can also see what watchlists are doing and how fast homes are selling.
  • You can do all of this from the palm of your hand.

According to a recent Trade Me survey of 2,500 New Zealanders, 91% consider their home's value a key part of their financial security.

The survey also revealed that 32 per cent find themselves wondering what their property is worth at least once a month with 15 per cent thinking about their home’s value weekly.

Gavin Lloyd, Trade Me Property Customer Director said the feature was designed to level the playing field for everyday New Zealanders.

“We're giving Kiwi access to the same kind of real-time information that, until now, hasn’t been readily available to homeowners," said Mr Lloyd. "It’s about empowering them to make smarter, more confident decisions.”

Kiwi homeowners can now access the new My Homes experience by tracking their homes in the Trade Me Property app.
