Hedge Cutter Operator Wanted – Take Charge of Your Workday!
We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Hedge Cutter Operator to join our client’s team. This is a hands-on, independent role perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, operating machinery, and taking control of their own schedule.
About the Role:
As the Hedge Cutter Operator, you’ll be responsible for:
- Operating a hedge cutting machine (similar size to a mid-sized excavator)
- Managing your own schedule and booking jobs efficiently
- Liaising directly with clients on-site and via phone
- Safely towing a ute/trailer behind the hedge cutter, on country roads
You’ll be trusted to work independently, problem-solve on the go, and represent the business professionally.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience operating machinery
- Confident towing and reversing vehicles/machinery
- Excellent communication skills – friendly, reliable and professional
- A self-starter who can manage time and workload effectively
- Current driver’s licence (essential)
- Mechanical aptitude or basic maintenance skills (preferred)
