We are looking for a motivated and practical Agricultural Field Representative to join our team based in Ashburton.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, values independence, and has a genuine interest in agriculture and rural communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-farm sampling of silage, baleage, and pasture
• Collect samples from forage crops and soil
• Perform irrigation assessments
• Ensure accurate labelling, record-keeping, and sample handling
• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and rural clients
• Maintain equipment and adhere to health & safety procedures

About You

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Have an interest in agriculture, livestock nutrition, or soil science
• Enjoy hands-on, outdoor work in a rural environment
• Are comfortable using technology, including GPS and drone tools
• Can work independently with strong time management skills
• Communicate confidently with farmers and rural clients
• Hold a full NZ driver's licence (manual preferred)

An advantage:

• Previous on-farm or rural industry experience
• Knowledge of pasture, crop, or soil testing
• Experience operating farm vehicles or machinery
