Southern Lakes Mowers is Queenstown's leading provider of outdoor power equipment, servicing a wide range of professional and residential clients. As a locally owned Husqvarna Crown Dealer, we specialise in tailored maintenance, repair, and automation solutions for all types of machinery.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Service Technician to join our small, close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good technical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in small engine mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Servicing and repairing outdoor power equipment
• Installing and maintaining Husqvarna Automowers
• Providing basic customer support and equipment training
• Working both independently and as part of a small team
• Using workshop tools, Husqvarna software, and web-based systems

You'll work alongside our experienced Lead Mechanic, learning the trade while gaining exposure to a wide range of outdoor power equipment. A key focus of the role will be the installation, training, and servicing of Husqvarna Automowers, with full support and training provided.

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Class 1 driver's licence
• Good technical and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn and grow into small engine mechanics
• Customer-focused with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Comfortable working hands-on in a workshop and on-site

This is a Full Time position working Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5.00pm and every third Saturday: 9.00am - 12.00pm.
