Service Foreman – Multi-Brand Workshop

Rosedale / North Shore, Auckland | Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced Service Foreman to join our multi-brand dealership workshop based in Rosedale, North Shore. This is an immediate start role within a small, close-knit team, suited to a hands-on leader who is technically strong, confident working independently, and comfortable across both ICE and electric vehicles.

You will play a key role in the daily operation of the workshop, supporting technicians, ensuring quality standards, and providing advanced diagnostic capability across multiple vehicle brands, including EVs.

About the role

• Leading and supporting a small team of technicians in a busy workshop
• Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues across multiple brands, including EVs
• Issuing WOFs and ensuring compliance with NZTA requirements
• Providing advanced fault-finding and technical support, including EV systems
• Managing job flow, productivity, and workshop quality standards
• Mentoring technicians, including safe work practices around EVs
• Working closely with the Service Advisor and wider branch team
• Maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organised workshop

About you

• Proven experience as a Service Foreman, Senior Technician, or Lead Technician
• Current WOF issuing authority (required)
• Demonstrated EV servicing and diagnostic experience (high-voltage safety knowledge essential)
• Strong diagnostic capability across both ICE and electric vehicles
• Able to work independently and make sound technical decisions
• Practical, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Full NZ driver’s licence
