We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our busy, multi-brand dealership based in the Hamilton / Te Rapa area. This is an immediate start opportunity for a commercially astute professional who can balance exceptional customer outcomes with the best interests of the dealership.
The role works closely with sales consultants and their customers, while also liaising directly with senior management, making this a key position within the business.
About the role
- Managing vehicle finance, insurance, and associated products across multiple brands
- Working directly with sales staff to structure compliant, competitive deals
- Engaging with customers to deliver a professional, transparent finance experience
- Ensuring all documentation, compliance, and lender requirements are met
- Maintaining strong relationships with finance providers and insurers
- Providing clear commercial advice and pushing back where required to protect the dealership’s interests
- Reporting and communicating effectively with senior management
About you
- Proven experience as a Business Manager or Senior F&I professional in the motor trade
- Strong understanding of finance, insurance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Confident dealing with customers, sales teams, and senior management
- Commercially minded, with the judgement to balance sales outcomes and risk
- Customer-centric, but firm and decisive when required
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and professional in your approach
