Motor Machinists (2015) Ltd is a locally owned business based in Palmerston North which was established in 1941. Motor Machinists specialise in automotive/heavy diesel engine reconditioning and engineering as well as stocking a large range of automotive and heavy diesel parts in our retail shop. Our machining workshop is fully equipped with both tried and tested machinery as well as the latest state of the art gear used for the reconditioning of anything from small single cylinder up to large diesel engines Motor Machinists and their team are committed to providing outstanding service and expert advice to our nationwide clients.
Motor Machinists (2015) Ltd is looking for an experienced Automotive Machinist to join our team. The ideal applicant will:
- Have experience in Automotive Machining
- Be quality focussed with a high attention to detail without compromising on time
- Be excellent at working under pressure and multi-tasking
- Have initiative, be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised
- Be a practical/logical thinker with problem solving abilities
- Work well in a team with a great sense of humour
- Have great interpersonal and communication skills
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be physically fit
- Have a full NZ Drivers Licence
