The Role

You will be working in a Brisbane workshop on classic and prestige vehicle restorations. This is hands-on, technical panel beating work that requires proper trade foundations and attention to detail.

Day to day you will be across:

• Inspecting and assessing vehicles for structural and panel damage
• Removing and repairing damaged panels, frames, and components
• Cutting out rust sections and fabricating replacement panels
• Welding repair patches and joining replacement sections
• Straightening chassis and frames using hydraulic and mechanical equipment
• Fitting and aligning repaired panels to body lines and specifications
• Filling, grinding, and sanding surfaces to prepare for paint
• Stripping and refitting trims, mouldings, and vehicle components

This is not a role for someone who wants to rush through cars. The client wants people who take pride in their work and want to do it properly.

What We Need

• Trade qualified panel beater
• Solid hands-on experience including rust repair, section fabrication, and rewelding
• Ability to strip, refit, align, and reassemble vehicles correctly
• Someone who works well in a team and communicates honestly about their skill level
• Current driver licence
• Genuine willingness to relocate to Brisbane, Queensland
