What You Need to Know Before You Start Real estate is a professional career, and like any career move, it requires an initial investment of study. To start selling property in New Zealand, you'll need to complete the New Zealand Certificate in Real Estate (Level 4). This is your entry ticket into the industry - and we'll guide you through the process so you're set up for success. It's also important to understand that real estate sales roles are commission-only. Your income is driven by your activity, commitment, and determination - giving you truly unlimited earning potential once you hit your stride.
