The Opportunity: This is a pivotal role within the pre-construction team, responsible for producing accurate cost plans, tender submissions, and feasibility assessments while managing the full tender lifecycle.

You will:

• Lead and deliver competitive tenders ranging from $500k to $20M+
• Prepare detailed measurements and apply strategic pricing methodologies
• Manage the tender process end-to-end to secure profitable project wins
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry stakeholders
• Source and negotiate with trade partners to maximise value
• Analyse project, land, and building data to support sound commercial decisions
• Conduct thorough risk assessment and due diligence to protect margins

About You: You bring a strong combination of technical expertise and commercial construction experience, along with the confidence to lead and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key requirements include:

• Minimum 5 years’ postgraduate experience in commercial construction estimating
• Experience with mid-tier commercial contractors (NZ and/or Australia preferred)
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar)
• Proven experience across new builds and fit-outs
• Advanced capability with estimating and project management software
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strategic thinking with a focus on commercial performance and risk management
