Construction General Labourer

We have clients with various projects in commercial or residential areas, including site clean up, handling and carrying building materials, moving equipment between different levels, and following instructions from the site foreman.

This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and get your foot in the door with some great companies. We offer an opportunity for full-time ongoing work and fair/competitive rates with wages paid weekly. If you prove to be a reliable and hardworking person, you will get the opportunity to be upskilled and possibly secure a permanent position.

Duties of the Role:

• Ability to perform physical labour and other strenuous tasks.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Workers must be punctual and reliable.
• Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labourers when necessary.
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Assemble and dismantle temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
• Remove, fill, or compact earth.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Assist craft workers.
• Perform site clean up.
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
