Shredder Labourer

We are looking for a motivated Shredder Labourer to join our dynamic earthmoving team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in the civil construction and earthmoving industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate shredding machinery and related equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
• Sort, load, and feed materials into the shredder for processing.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
• Perform routine cleaning of shredding equipment.
• Assist with material handling, including stacking and bundling processed materials.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Comply with all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Support other yard activities as directed by the supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Support the team with general earthmoving activities as required.

What We’re Looking For

• No prior experience required – full training provided.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Current driver’s licence.
• WTR preferred but not essential.
