Motorway Maintenance Crew - Auckland
Are you keen to work on some of Auckland's largest motorways, helping to keep them tidy, safe, and operating smoothly? No two days are the same in this hands-on, outdoor role.
We are looking for reliable, hardworking, mature, and motivated team members to join our client's motorway maintenance crews across Auckland and play a key role in keeping Auckland's motorways safe and fully operational.
About the Role
You'll be involved in a range of maintenance activities, including:
* Vegetation control - mowing and weed eating
* Maintenance of wire ropes and guardrails
* Clearing catchpits and drains, plus general maintenance duties
For wire rope and guardrail works, dedicated TTM (Temporary Traffic Management) is in place. Where required, full lane closures are arranged to ensure safety.
Safety & Support
Safety is our top priority. All team members receive:
* A full induction and VOCs (Verification of Competency) on day one
* VOCs required for Class 1, Class 2, and WTR operators
* Weekly toolbox meetings every Monday (day and night shifts)
* A hazard and site assessment before each job, completed with the Team Leader
* Ongoing on-site support from a Team Leader
* Oversight from a Foreman (floating between jobs) and an Operations Manager
What You'll Need
* Must have a Full Class 1 licence.
* Reliable transport to get to work on time
* Physically fit and healthy
* Experience using mowing equipment
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- We are after a 'jack of all trades'
Pay Rates
* Nminimal experince: $25.00 per hour**
* Intermediate experience: $26.00 per hour**
* Class 2, WTR, or higher experience: Negotiable ($30+ depending on experience)**
