General Labourer

Civil Labourers – Porirua | Ongoing Work | June Starts We are looking for experienced Civil Labourers to join a large-scale infrastructure project based in Porirua. With work locked in long-term, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing employment with a solid crew and consistent hours through winter and beyond. This role is Monday to Friday with the opportunity for extra hours and Saturday work when required. If you enjoy hands-on outdoor work, take pride in being part of major projects, and can work well within a team environment, we want to hear from you. What does a Civil Labourer do? Civil Labourers play a key role on infrastructure and construction projects. Duties can include:

• Assisting with drainage and pipe laying
• Digging, trenching, and site preparation
• Shovelling, compacting, and backfilling
• Spotting machinery and supporting operators
• Concrete prep and reinstatement work
• Traffic and pedestrian management support
• General site clean-up and labouring duties
• Working alongside skilled tradespeople and civil crews

What we are looking for:

• Previous civil or construction labouring experience
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Reliable transport and strong work ethic
• Ability to work as part of a team
• WTR endorsements advantageous but not essential
• Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays when required
