We’re looking for an experienced Digger Operator who can take charge on site and get the job done right. You’ll be part of a well respected Wellington civil team that handles everything from demolition and trenching to siteworks and haulage so no two days are the same.
This is steady, ongoing work with a company that values skilled operators, looks after its gear, and takes pride in delivering high quality results.
The Role
- Operate excavators on a mix of civil, drainage, and demolition projects
- Read plans, set out, and run small sites independently when required
- Work safely around live services and tight access areas
- Carry out daily machine checks and maintenance
- Coordinate with drivers and ground crew to keep jobs moving smoothly
You’ll Need
- WTR endorsement + Class 2 licence (Class 4 a bonus)
- Solid digger experience, ideally 5+ years in civil or demo work
- Confidence to work solo or lead a small crew
- A strong understanding of health & safety practices
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to pitch in where needed
