With the Wellington Civil Construction sector set for a massive 2026, we're on the hunt for experienced Machine Operators to join the ever-growing list of projects across the region. The right candidate will have the ability to operate a variety of heavy machinery, including loaders, dump trucks, bull bulldozers and/ or excavators for precision work, be able to jump on a shovel when required and carry out the role safely and efficiently.
What we're looking for:
- Previous Experience in Construction or Civil
- Experience operating heavy machinery i.e. Excavators, bulldozers, rollers, dump trucks etc
- Full Clean Class 1 and 2 licence with WTR (4 would be advantageous)
- Strong work ethic with good communication skills
- Competent with Health and Safety procedures

- Willingness to be on the tools and in the trenches when required
- Respect the equipment and take pride in preventive maintenance.
- Have a positive attitude and promote a healthy team environment
- High personal standards and presentation of work
- Drug-free (Pre-employment, reasonable cause, post-incident and random drug testing).
