We are looking for an experienced Civil Grader Operator to join our Construction Division based out of Hamilton.
You will be part of a team performing a wide range of construction activities including:
- Operate a Grader to shape, level, maintain roads, shoulders, drainage ditches and finishing road surfaces
- Perform routine road maintenance, including repairing potholes and controlling erosion
- Area wide pavement treatments and overlays including final trim
- Subdivision pavement work
- Ensuring high quality infrastructure projects are delivered to plan using your expert operator skills
To be successful in this role, you will:
- NZ resident or NZ citizen
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience operating graders in the civil and road construction industry
- Able to work independently & have an eye for detail
- Class 2 full licence & WTR's endorsements
- Previous experience with GPS / Total station enabled equipment would be advantageous
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines
- Proven experience in supervising and leading a crews
- Ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers
