About the Role Max People are recruiting an experienced Bulk Operator for a Christchurch-based client working across large-scale earthworks and civil infrastructure projects.
This role is primarily focused on bulk loading, efficiently and safely loading trucks and articulated dumpers to maintain consistent production. You'll be working alongside experienced supervisors and operators on well-organised, high-performing sites.

What You Will Be Doing
- Loading trucks and articulated dumpers accurately and efficiently
- Operating machinery in bulk earthworks environments
- Maintaining production targets while working safely
- Communicating with drivers and supervisors to keep operations flowing
- Completing daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Supporting wider site operations when required
What We Require
- Proven experience in bulk earthworks
- Strong capability loading trucks and articulated dumpers
- WTR endorsements (required)
- Class 1 licence (Class 2-4 an advantage)
- Solid understanding of safe loading practices
- Strong health & safety mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
