Description
We are looking for an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our Construction Division based out of Hamilton.
You will be operating 8-25T Excavators and be part of a team performing a wide range of construction activities including:
- General earthworks, road widening & detailed excavation
- Pavement construction and kerbing preparation
- Drainage Excavation, including wate tabling and rural pipe installation
- Subdivision excavation work
- Shaping and trimming of batters
- Ensuring high quality infrastructure projects are delivered to plan using your expert operator skills
To be successful in this role, you will:
- NZ resident or NZ citizen
- Background in civil construction
- Able to work independently & have an eye for detail
- Class 2 licence & WTR as a minimum
- Previous experience with GPS enabled equipment would be advantageous
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines
- Leadership and crew management would be beneficial
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, punctuality, reliability, respect for others and to work as part of an efficient team
