We are looking for skilled Heavy Machine Operators to support ongoing civil and infrastructure projects across the Wellington region. If you operate with care, communicate well on site, and value doing the job properly, we'd like to hear from you.
Roles Available
We are keen to hear from operators with experience on the following machines:
- Excavators (general civil, drainage, bulk, final trim)
- Loaders
- Rollers
- Graders
- Dozers
- Articulated dump trucks
- Any other civil plant
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently on active civil sites
- Completing earthworks, roading, drainage, and general infrastructure tasks
- Working to levels, grades, and site plans where required
- Carrying out daily pre-start checks and reporting faults or maintenance needs
- Supporting the crew on the ground when required and keeping sites tidy and safe
What You Need
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a civil construction environment
- Relevant licences/endorsements (WTR required; class 2 and/or 4 licences preffered)
- Strong health and safety focus and awareness of working around services/people
- Reliable attendance, solid communication, and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass standard pre-employment checks
