Plant Operator-32 Tonne Compactor

We are after an experienced and reliable 32 tonne sheepsfoot compactor operator to join our team working on a civil earthworks project in Beachlands.

This role will primarily involve compaction of clay materials, requiring a high level of skill and attention to detail to meet engineering and site specifications. Hours are Mon-Fri 7am-6pm and Sat 7am-2pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a 32 tonne sheepsfoot compactor safely and efficiently Perform compaction of clay in line with project requirements and density specifications Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of machinery Work closely with site supervisors and ground crew to achieve project targets Maintain a high standard of health and safety on site Adapt to varying ground conditions and project demands

Requirements:

Proven experience operating sheepsfoot compactors (32 tonne preferred) Strong background working with clay and understanding compaction techniques Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions Good communication skills and team-focused attitude Reliable transport to and from site Commitment to workplace health and safety
