Asphalt Paver Operators
We’re looking for experienced Asphalt Paver Operators to join a busy and growing crew in Hamilton. If you’ve got asphalt or civil construction experience and enjoy working in a hands-on outdoor environment, we want to hear from you. This role offers great hourly rates, long hours, and the potential for ongoing work with a well-established company.
Location: Hamilton Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $30–$34 per hour
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing surfaces before paving
- Cleaning work areas and removing old asphalt
- Levelling and compacting ground surfaces
- Laying and spreading hot asphalt
- Operating asphalt paving equipment and machinery
- Using rollers, compactors, bobcats, and loaders
- Compacting and finishing surfaces to a high standard
- Checking asphalt levels and thickness
What we’re looking for:
- Full Class 2 licence (Class 4 is a bonus)
- WTR endorsements
- Asphalt or civil construction experience
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Reliable transport and strong work ethic
- Ability to work rotational shifts and long hours when required
