We're looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our Blenheim Sealing team on a fixed-term basis. With strong workflows ahead for the next six months - and the potential for this role become permanent - now's a great time to come on board.

From Marlborough's vineyards and coastline to important infrastructure projects across the region, this is a role where no two days are the same.

The Opportunity

Due to increased workload, we're seeking an experienced Machine Operator to support our Blenheim team from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027.

What you'll be doing

As a Machine Operator you will

  • Operator heavy machinery, and other road construction equipment, safely and efficiently
  • Carry out general plant and equipment maintenance to best practice standards
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant job and work instruction
  • Contribute to a safe, productive, and high performing team environment

What we're looking for

You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a civil or roading environment
  • A Class 2 Licence and W, T, R endorsements
  • A strong commitment to safety and looking out for your teammates
  • The ability to work away from home for up to 3 months, Monday to Friday
  • Good communication skills and a team first attitude
