Quality Assurance Technician – Surfacing Division

HEB Construction’s Surfacing Division is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about civil engineering and quality standards in road surfacing.

About the Role

• Conduct quality assurance testing on surfacing sites to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Work closely with site teams to monitor and report on material and workmanship quality.
• Night shifts will be required as part of the role.
• Travel outside Canterbury will be necessary for project requirements.

Ideal Candidate

• Background in civil engineering or a similar field.
• 5 years of field-based asphalt delivery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and travel as required.
