Commercial Carpenter

About the Role

Interior works are now underway following completion of foundations and precast. We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join complex commercial builds, delivering high-quality workmanship from framing through to finishing.

Key Duties

• Set out building sites and construct timber framing for walls, floors, and roofsInstall beams, lintels, and structural components; fit doors and windows
• Complete interior finishing and exterior cladding/weatherproofingAssist with general site duties as required

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years' carpentry experience on residential or commercial sites
• Confident reading plans and completing site set-out
• Strong timber framing, structural, and finishing carpentry skills
• Solid understanding of NZ Building Code and site safety requirements
• Experience in commercial construction environments preferred

Requirements

• NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) or equivalent experience
• Current Site Safe
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Own full set of standard carpentry tools
