Concrete Placer

About the role

There is a strong need for concrete placers across maintenance works in wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and generator facilities. These roles are immediate and require individuals who can deliver efficiently and maintain productivity, as deadlines are being pushed through.

Duties will include

• Place and finish concrete structuresOperate rollers and various plant equipment on site
• Carry out concrete repairs and reinstatement on existing structures (tanks, slabs, and accessways)
• Perform formwork, placing, levelling, and finishing for maintenance and upgrade works
• Assist with prep works, including cleaning, chipping, and removing damaged concrete
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and productivity to meet tight maintenance deadlines
• Assist in formwork and prep tasks

Skills & Experience

• 5-10 years concrete placing/finishing experience
• Experience working around live infrastructure (pump stations, treatment plants)
• Understanding of H&S requirements in these environments

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Physically fit
• Site Safe or ConstructSafe
• Must have complete set of tools
• WTR endorsement
• Class 2 driver's licence and able to drive a manual vehicle
