This mid-sized commercial contractor has a great reputation for staff loyalty with hands on directors that know how to look after their staff. They have a down to earth team culture with an outstanding client servicing ethic. They are delivering projects across multiple build sectors
They have been recently awarded a commercial $15M project which requires a site-based PM that can lead the delivery of this build.
Reporting into a Construction Manager, you will be leading a team of site team reporting on project delivery throughout. This will involve managing day to day operations with regular updates and interaction from/with site managers, sub-contractors and other consultants. You will be proactively monitoring commercial and contractual issues and providing feedback. You will be ensuring projects costs are measured, monitored and agreed. There will also be a strong emphasis on H&S and compliance.
Key success factors for this role require:
- A trade qualification and ideally coupled with a tertiary qualification
- 10 + years experience managing $10M - $20M+ projects
- Sound knowledge of relevant commercial construction legislation including 3910
- Strong programming skills and an advanced user of MS Project and/or other construction management systems
- Strong financial management with ability to drive cost accountability
- Outstanding written and oral communication
- Ability to drive a program and motivate site teams
