Description
We're on the hunt for qualified, practising STMS workers who are reliable, safety-driven, and ready to get stuck in. This role is Palmerston North-based, supporting a range of active civil projects across the wider Manawat?.
You'll play a key role in setting up, maintaining, and packing down traffic management sites, supporting crews on the ground, and keeping work zones safe, compliant, and moving smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
- Set up, monitor, and pack down TMPs
- Install, check, and maintain signage, cones, and barriers
- Support onsite crews with general labouring as required
- Ensure traffic management plans are followed at all times
- Actively manage risks to keep workers, road users, and the public safe
- Report incidents, hazards, or issues promptly
- Travel to sites around the wider Manawat? when required
Hours
Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week
Night and weekend availability required
What You'll Need
- Current TMO / STMS qualification (essential)
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Reliable, physically fit, and happy working on your feet all day
