Join Tactical Solutions as a Measure and Fit Technician supporting the operational needs of multiple government agencies and their individual Body Armour requirements. The right candidate will play a critical role in delivering frontline and behind-the-scenes support to these agencies nationwide.

This full-time position is primarily based in our Trentham office, but we have secondary servicing locations in both Porirua and Petone. The locations of work can be dynamic, either onsite at Tactical's premises or remote at client locations.

About the Role

As part of our Body Armour Services team, you'll be the customer facing solution provider of Tactical Solutions, providing body armour measuring and fitting services. Your role is pivotal in ensuring Tactical Solutions fulfils their contractual obligations, ensuring frontline staff are fitted correctly, adhering to required protection levels, and ensuring operational comfort.

You'll operate across three key workstreams:

• Measure and Fitting Services
• Support Ticket Management
• Event Management

Key Responsibilities:

Measure and Fitting Services:

• Take and record accurate officer measurements and fit body armour in accordance with the fitting standard.
• Develop extensive knowledge of the body armour system, and the body armour fitting standard, and be able to communicate benefits and features of the system as well as care instructions to the end-users.
• Demonstrate an understanding of all body armour processes from start to finish.

Support Ticket Management:

• Ensure a high level of accuracy and detail when recording related information in our asset management system.

Event Management:

• Organise and manage our "in district" BAS Clinics, held within NZ Police stations all over the country.
• Organise and manage our Intakes and Requals with MOJ (in the same building) throughout the year
• Organise and manage appointments with smaller customers that are ad-hoc and may be at the customers' site
• Liaise with external stakeholders to arrange customer appointment times.
• Analyse customer issues to determine specific fitting and size requirements.
• Coordinate with Tactical's warehouse staff to ensure required inventory is delivered to clinics within the requested timeframes.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. You will need to be equally confident working independently and collaboratively across teams within Tactical. You'll also need to liaise and communicate effectively with the customers, both frontline and within management.

Key Attributes:

• Comfortable working in close physical proximity to clients while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
• Demonstrate a professional manner over the phone and use professional language in email communications.
• Be able to travel regularly around the country servicing customer body armour requirements, sometimes with very little notice.
• Maintain a positive and customer focused attitude.
