ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Maintenance Planner, you'll work closely with our Production and Maintenance stakeholders to deliver a safe and reliable plant. Your primary role will involve:
- Provide planning support to the Maintenance Department in order to maximise plant and resource availability at the most economical Cost
- Working with Production Stakeholders to understand Scope and priorities of work requests to minimise business risks.
- Improve maintenance work force effectiveness by eliminating potential for delays and obstacles through accurate planning and coordination of parts, resources and windows.
- Plan Preventative and Corrective activity in Weekly and longer term horizons to optimise asset downtime by coordinating between all relevant stakeholders
- Plans work for quality and efficiency and contributes to the effective utilization of the maintenance budget
- Utilises the CMMS (SAP) to manage all related Asset data meeting to the necessary quality requirements
- Seek opportunities to systemise Asset information to ensure future iterations of work are executed as efficiently as allowable (Plans, BoM, Inventory).
We are big on Health and Safety as we know we all have a collective effort in helping to get each other home safe. This role is primarily a daytime role, however there is a shared requirement for rostered nights along with some additional hours work to provide maximum plant availability.
ABOUT YOU
We are keen to hear from individuals that are excited about and can contribute to, a positive team environment. You know how to have a laugh but get the work done and you are flexible and adaptable to changing work demands. You also:
- Have a strong commitment to the health and safety of yourself, your team and the environment
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification (L4) or demonstrated experience in similar role with related qualification
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated pragmatic application of Maintenance Planning tools and methodologies
- A good level of physical fitness and ability to work with heavy equipment
- Practical knowledge and understanding in the use of a CMMS, SAP experience will be an advantage
- Ability to build relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders
- Detail focus with an eye for Risk Management
