We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager , experienced in Water main and Fire main construction works ; to join a well-established civil main contractor in South/ East Auckland.
With history spanning over 20 years , their team has many years of experience in road rehabilitation , water main and fire main installation, and reinstatement work.
Requirements :
- Able to run at least 4 projects at any one time, two operational and two in planning
- Understand traffic Management, AT Requirements and be able to work in MyWorksites
- Understand contracts and in particular NZS 3910
- Have a good knowledge of watermain fittings, pipe installation
- Understand Watercare Engineering and material standards
- Be culturally diverse, have empathy and respect for different cultures
- Have a strong planning and programme background
- Able to manage multiple projects with 5 other PM’s
- Experience with existing asset renewals.
- Essential : Must know Watercare/Auckland Transport rules and standards
- A sharp wit and sense of humour is a must - as well is the ability to able to communicate with Engineers and understand client requirements
RECOMMENDED:
- Experience within the industry (within NZ )
- Hands on experience and working knowledge of std: NZS 3910
- Be able to motivate and drive staff and oversee up to 15 staff + sub contractors
SALARY RANGE :
- Salary commensurate of experience
- Bonuses + Progression + other incentives
- Company vehicle
