Westwood Stables - Support Worker

We are looking for a full time Support Worker for our services in West Melton. In this specific role, Support workers will support and assist our people with activities around horses.

Shifts available- Full time Monday to Friday 08:30-3:30pm

What's the role about? |He aha te mahi

• Grooming horses, warming them up for riders, helping people to mount and dismount, leading or supporting while on rides.
• Mucking out and feeding horses.
• Personal cares/support of people attending to ride or spend day at stables.
• Grounds maintenance, meds, notes, etc.

• Confident and competent riding and ground skills.
• Desire to work with and support people in a riding environment willing to do personal cares (support with toileting) as required.
