Our clients include people who are unwell, recovering from injury, living with disability (tangata whaikaha), older adults, and those who simply need extra support to live their best life.
Sometimes our clients need personal care support, and sometimes they just need their person — someone reliable, compassionate, and encouraging by their side.
About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers / Caregivers to provide home support, personal care, and community-based support to clients in Dunedin.
Shifts may include:
- Short shifts (from 1 hour)
- Part-day or full-day shifts
- Part-time hours
- weekends/ alternate weekends
Shift availability will depend on client needs and may include a mix of aged care, disability support, and personal care at home. We focus on matching clients and support workers carefully to build positive, long-term relationships.
About You You will ideally have:
- Experience as a support worker, caregiver, or personal care assistant
- Experience in in-home care, community support, disability support, or aged care
- A Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification (essential). Applications without a health qualification may not be considered
- A full New Zealand driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
- The ability to work within 15km of Dunedin
- A genuine desire to care for others and give back to your community
