Social Worker

Social Worker Role Part time, fixed term – term time only for Term 3 and 4, 2026

• Are you self managing?
• Are you a fully qualified, registered social worker ?
• Do you have experience working with tamariki, ākonga and their whānau? Is building relationships one of your strengths ?
• Do you have a wide knowledge and experience of social service providers and NGOs in the Canterbury region?
• Do you have experience providing education to groups, or willing to give it a go?
• We are looking for a registered social worker with experience working with whānau to join our team. The role will be based at Te Puna Wai o Waipapa - Hagley College with one day and a half based at Ao Tawhiti School. The social worker role will involve travel to schools and outside agencies. Home visits may be required.

Remuneration will be subject to qualifications and experience and negotiated with the successful applicant.
