Registered Nurse - Paediatrics

• Permanent, Part-Time 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE)

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in Paediatrics, youll play an integral role in providing highquality, familycentred nursing care to children and young people. Your day will include undertaking comprehensive assessments, planning and evaluating care, administering treatments, and working closely with whanau to support their childs wellbeing and recovery.

Youll use your nursing expertise to deliver safe, effective and culturally responsive care, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to ensuring the best experience for patients and whanau. About the Team/Service/ Location

Our Paediatric Service is a supportive and skilled team committed to providing excellent care to children and their whanau within our Childrens Ward. Youll work alongside dedicated nurses, medical staff and allied health professionals, all focused on delivering holistic, familycentred care in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

About you

As a Paediatric Registered Nurse, you will bring clinical confidence, compassion and a commitment to partnership with whanau. You will have:

• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practising Certificate.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and the ability to adapt in a busy clinical environment.
• IV designation (or willingness to complete).
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to equitable health outcomes.

Desired:

• A current PDRP portfolio.
• Previous paediatric nursing experience.
