Orthoptist Full-Time | Fixed Term or Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a full-time Orthoptist to join a busy and collaborative ophthalmology team in Auckland. This role can be offered as a 1-year fixed term or permanent position, depending on your preference.
About the Role:
- Delivering high-quality orthoptic assessments and management for both adult and paediatric patients.
- You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team and lead orthoptist-led clinics independently.
- The role also includes contributing to regional service delivery and supporting clinical education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert orthoptic assessments and tailored care
- Collaborate with Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Nurses, and Technicians
- Support clinical education and service improvement
About You:
- Recognised Orthoptics qualification (IOA or associate member country)
- Registration with NZ Orthoptic Society (NZOSI) required upon commencement
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
