The Opportunity, should you choose to leap for it
We are seeking an enthusiastic Onsite Occupational Health Professional to join our team.
This part‑time role offers flexibility around working days and hours, with 16–24 hours per week available. You’ll work closely with our HR and Health & Safety team to make a meaningful contribution to Tenon’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing goals.
This position is ideal for an experienced occupational health practitioner or a health professional looking to step into the occupational health field. We’re looking for someone with a proactive, can‑do attitude who can foster and promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across the organization.
Full training and professional development support will be provided, including opportunities for further education and relevant registrations.
The main duties of this role:
- Pre-employment medical assessments
- Annual medical monitoring for employees
- Contribute to and carry out Tenon’s Health and Wellbeing Initiatives including but not limited to:
- Hearing education
- Annual Flu vaccine program
- Blood pressure and cardiovascular health education
- General wellbeing and healthy eating
- On-site drug and alcohol testing
- Contribute to health education and initiatives across site
- Participate in safety meetings and relevant committees
- Provide regular reports on health trends and design wellness and education initiatives to support the identified trends
- Opportunities to develop and work alongside Occupational Therapists, Occupational Hygienist and Medical Specialists
