About the Role

In this community-based position, you will:

  • Provide assessment and management of mental health and addiction presentations
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across the Tararua locality
  • Contribute to Te Matapuna o te Ora, an integrated model of care focused on holistic wellbeing
  • Support individuals and whanau using a strengths-based recovery approach
  • Deliver care that is culturally responsive and person-centred

About You

We're seeking someone who is:

  • A Registered Social Worker with relevant experience
  • Skilled in mental health and addictions within a community setting
  • Highly motivated and adaptable in a changing environment
  • Passionate about integrated care and improving outcomes
  • Committed to equity, cultural safety, and whanau-centred practice
  • A collaborative team player who can work across services
