The Merchant is a warm, welcoming and honest-to-goodness pub located in the heart of Albany, famous for its hearty food, live entertainment and any excuse to get your crew together. The Merchant is on the hunt for some Front of House superstars who have a knack for making friends and being energetic every day. As the key contact with our customers, you’ll be tasked with creating memorable experiences through your top-notch service, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, clearing up afterward and maybe after some training a shift or two working the bar. No two customers (or days) are the same, so you thrive on variety and you’re a great people person who knows how to multi-task and work under pressure. In return, we’re committed to investing in you whether you need this gig for a good time or a long time. Customer service experience is preferred but not necessary.
