He angitūtanga | The Opportunity As the F&B Supervisor, you will oversee daily food and beverage operations, lead and support a front‑of‑house team, and ensure high‑quality customer service is delivered at all times. You will play a hands‑on role in service, staff coordination, and maintaining a safe and compliant environment that meets the needs of both clients and customers. This is a Permanent Full Time position with 40 hours per week during education terms.

Ko ō kawenga | Your Responsibilities

  • Supervise and allocate tasks to F&B staff during shifts, supporting service delivery and assisting with food preparation when required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring prompt responses to customer needs, managing complaints, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Oversee food and beverage service, including table service, beverage dispensing, and ensuring service standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain clean, organised, and hygienic front‑ and back‑of‑house environments, including equipment cleaning and waste handling.
  • Complete cash‑handling duties, prepare espresso beverages, communicate effectively with the team, and uphold all company policies and safety requirements.

  • Hold NZQCF Level 4 or have at least three years’ relevant hospitality and supervisory experience.
  • A natural leader with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and adaptable with strong customer service focus and a passion for hospitality.
  • Physically fit, well‑presented, and able to thrive under pressure in a busy hospitality environment.
  • Able to obtain a Police Clearance and committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, and workplace health and safety standards.
