Pastry Chef Wanted Exciting Opportunity in the Stunning Nelson Region!

Are you a talented chef with a passion for pastry? We're looking for someone with Chef de Partie or Sous Chef experience to join our team and take charge of a busy pastry section. You'll get the chance to showcase your skills, and during the quieter months, help across all areas of the kitchen to keep things running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Pastry Excellence: Take the lead in the pastry section, creating exceptional desserts and pastries that customers will love.
• Versatility: When it's quieter, you'll get to step into other parts of the kitchen and develop your skills in different areas, adding to your overall kitchen experience.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience at Chef de Partie to Sous Chef level, with a strong pastry background - must have specific pastry experience.
• A real passion for pastry and creativity in the kitchen.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, mostly day shifts, but with evenings as/when required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Ability to jump into other areas of the kitchen during quieter times and contribute wherever needed.

Visa & Relocation Information:

• Visa Requirements: We're looking for candidates who already have New Zealand residency, citizenship, or an unrestricted work visa (no AEWV or variations).
• Relocation Assistance: We're offering up to 8 weeks of accommodation (single), plus relocation support to help you settle into the beautiful Nelson region, if not based in the region already.
• Accommodation: You'll need to find your own permanent accommodation, but we'll help you get started with the initial support (not suitable for families)
• Full-Time Role: This is a full-time, permanent position with a guaranteed contract.
