What will you do?
We are on the lookout for two P&C Advisors to join our Christchurch based P&C Operations team. We have one permanent role and one 9-month fixed term role. These roles are dedicated to supporting our village operations, working directly with village leaders and the People and Culture team to provide practical, day to day guidance across all aspects of people and culture.
You will play an important part in coaching leaders, helping to lift performance, supporting positive team culture, and ensuring we continue to meet our employment legislation and policy obligations. You will have opportunities to partner with leaders across the operations portfolio and contribute to meaningful work that supports our teams and residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide timely, practical advice across all generalist HR matters including performance, behaviour, coaching, engagement, team development, and workplace culture.
- Lead end‑to‑end employment relations processes, including complex performance management, conduct matters, investigations, disciplinary processes, medical incapacity, restructuring/change processes, and preparation of accurate documentation.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and frontline teams across your village portfolio, ensuring regular onsite visibility and meaningful leadership connection.
- Guide leaders through all core people processes, ensuring consistent, fair, and accurate application of policy and procedure across your villages.
- Identify people risks early, provide clear advice, and proactively coach leaders toward effective resolution, escalating when appropriate.
- Use HR systems to maintain accurate and reliable employment data, support reporting requirements, and ensure integrity of people records and processes.
- Apply people insights, ER trends, and workforce data to support informed, risk‑aware decision‑making across your village portfolio.
- Support ongoing leadership capability uplift through coaching, guidance, and building confidence in leading performance, behaviour, and engaged teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of people policies, processes, and HR practices to strengthen operational consistency and compliance.
- Travel as required to provide in‑person support, maintain high‑trust relationships, and ensure visibility within your assigned villages.

Who are you?
- You have experience working in a generalist HR or People and Culture role and enjoy supporting leaders with practical advice and coaching
- You have experience supporting leaders in a large, multi site operational environment such as healthcare, retail, hospitality, logistics or other frontline based sectors
- You are confident navigating employment legislation and HR best practice and can apply this in real world scenarios
- You bring sound judgement, strong relationship building skills, and a calm, professional approach
- You are proactive, organised, and comfortable managing a varied workload with competing priorities
- You enjoy working in a team that values support, trust, and shared success
- You thrive in a role where you can make a positive impact quickly
